The Beaches

Packed with bright sights, sounds, oceanfront restaurants, and eclectic gift shops.

Welcome to The Beaches

A vibrant and scenic chain of beaches lining the awe-inspiring Gulf of Mexico

Encompassing Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Madeira Beach, Belleair Beach, and more, the beaches located west of Tampa are nothing shy of breathtaking. Packed with bright sights, sounds, oceanfront restaurants, and eclectic gift shops, it is easy to see why residents and visitors are drawn to this area.

Although this strip of beach towns is popular with tourists, residential areas are surprisingly quiet. Traveled primarily by locals, these neighborhoods are almost indistinguishable from other suburban communities. Finding a palatial home — or a charming bungalow — steps from the Gulf of Mexico is easy for those relocating to Tampa’s pristine beaches.

Local Lifestyle

Tampa-area beaches provide the ideal balance of fun and relaxation. Tranquil neighborhoods sit just minutes from attractions, upscale bars, themed restaurants, and the beachfront. Locals enjoy all of the comforts of a traditional town — including nearby schools, grocery stores, parks, and country clubs. Avid boaters appreciate having numerous places to dock their boats and explore on the water. Individuals who’ve been dreaming of residing in an oceanfront oasis should seriously consider relocating to one of the area’s lovely beaches.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Up and down the coastline, there are many restaurants, shops, and entertainment destinations available for your enjoyment.
One of the most popular destinations in the area is John's Pass Village & Boardwalk. Encompassing an array of stores and eateries, this vibrant entertainment complex includes establishments such as Bubba Gump Shrimp (inspired by 1994’s Tom Hanks-led Forrest Gump).

Looking to try dishes from some of the best restaurants along the coast? Locals are especially fond of the menu offerings at Badfins Food + Brew, which has been voted as the best Mexican and seafood in the area. Guppy's On the Beach served the freshest local seafood. Wherever you reside, there are guaranteed to be excellent restaurants minutes from home.
